🔥 Indiana Jones and the Fires of Atlantis Debuts Today – A Dream Decades in the Making
Some heroes never leave you.
For me, Indiana Jones has always been that hero — the fedora-wearing, whip-cracking archaeologist who made the ancient world feel thrilling, dangerous, and filled with wonder. Growing up, I wore out my VHS tapes of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, dreaming of faraway tombs, crumbling temples, and mysteries carved in forgotten tongues. The Indiana Jones films weren’t just movies — they were the fuel for a lifelong love of storytelling, history, and the adventurer’s spirit.
So much so, that my wife and I actually built an “Adventurer’s Library” in our home. It’s a warm, wood-paneled room full of old maps, antiquarian books on lost civilizations, antique globes, and relics — real and replica — from cultures around the world. It’s our sacred space, a daily reminder that the world is still full of stories waiting to be uncovered.

Today, I get to share something incredibly special with you — something I’ve wanted to make my whole life.
Indiana Jones and the Fires of Atlantis: Part One is now live on Fugazy Films.
It’s the beginning of a four-part anime-style fan film series, reimagining the legendary archaeologist in a bold new light.
This isn’t a parody. This isn’t a quick mash-up.
This is a fully cinematic story powered by cutting-edge AI tools and guided by genuine passion.
A New Chapter Begins…
In Part One, Indy receives a cryptic note that draws him into a new mystery — one that hints at the existence of Atlantis, the greatest lost city of all time. Teaming up with Thalia Ward, the bold daughter of a disgraced archaeologist, and his old friend Sallah, Indy embarks on a globe-trotting quest to uncover the myth’s first ancient keys.
This story takes place after the events of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (from the video game) but before The Last Crusade. For continuity fans: this story does not draw from the Fate of Atlantis game. We’re charting our own path through myth, mystery, and action.
Built With Tomorrow’s Tools
Creating this film has only been possible because of the astonishing evolution of AI-powered creativity. We’ve used:
Veo 3 – cinematic video generation
Hailuo 02 – AI voice synthesis and dialogue performance
Hedra – visual design and environment creation
LTX Studio – for scene sequencing, animation, and post-production polish
This project is proof that independent filmmakers now have the power to tell big, bold stories once reserved for Hollywood — and do it in entirely new styles.
We chose to present Fires of Atlantis in a stunning anime aesthetic, blending classic pulp adventure with the rich visual flair of Japanese animation. It’s a tribute to two worlds we love: the archaeological action of Indy, and the imaginative possibilities of anime.
What’s Next?
Fires of Atlantis is a four-part saga, and this is just the beginning. Each episode takes us deeper into forgotten catacombs, hidden archives, and ancient secrets guarded by fire and myth. As the series unfolds, you’ll see Indy pushed to his limits in a story that honors the character — while daring to explore new cinematic territory.
If you love Indiana Jones, The Last Crusade, The Great Circle, or just beautifully animated adventures that stir the soul — this is for you.
