In the dead of night within an ancient Chinese temple, a traveler faces the Jiangshi—the terrifying “hopping vampires” of eastern folklore. “Night of the Jiangshi” is a tense horror short where the only defense is a paper talisman and absolute silence.
We combined the gritty, atmospheric style of Vampire Hunter D with classic Hong Kong horror tropes to create a suffocatingly scary anime experience.
