Indiana Jones and the Fleece of Hecate

Indiana Jones recovers an ancient knife as German armor closes in. Getting it out of the dig is one problem. Keeping it out of German hands is about to become another.

THE FLEECE OF HECATE is the first FULL episode of INDY AT WAR, an animated Indiana Jones fan film from Fugazy Films Animation.

With an expedition under attack and no intention of leaving its people behind, Indy discovers a blade that has attracted far more attention than any museum piece should. Kleist wants it. Men marked with a crescent moon steal it. And Omphale, the pilot who helps Indy escape, has very little patience for his plans.

Their pursuit takes them to Istanbul, where an old contact connects the knife to the Golden Fleece: a relic said to make any empire that possesses it invincible. Its power is gone, but a ritual at an ancient sacred site could restore it. The blade Indy unearthed is the missing instrument.

Following the trail means dealing with collectors who know more than they admit, a cult devoted to Hecate, and WWII German agents who see Greek mythology as something they can put to military use. Indy would rather recover the artifact and get everyone home. Omphale can fly or drive just about anything, but she won’t be ordered out of a fight that has become her own.

From an evacuation under fire to a stolen aircraft and the hunt through Istanbul, this anime-style adventure puts Indy between the people chasing an ancient promise and the people who will pay for it.

He doesn’t believe artifacts win wars. The men hunting the Fleece are willing to find out.
