Who Are We?
We are part of the Transmissions From Atlantis Entertainment network created by filmmakers JC and Rita De La Torre.
JC De La Torre is a creative force in independent cinema, celebrated for blending myth, history, science fiction, and cutting-edge AI technology to tell compelling visual stories. He is the founder of Ancient Memoria, a history-focused media brand producing animated docudramas, and Fugazy Films AI, an experimental studio reimagining film, music, and fan culture through the lens of generative AI.
De La Torre wrote, directed, and produced the feature-length science-fantasy adventure film Seekers of the Lost Worlds, a globe-trotting story of lost civilizations and forbidden knowledge. The film served as an early showcase of his passion for mythology-infused storytelling and his talent for weaving mystery, action, and emotional depth into indie cinema and won an award for Best Feature of the Festival for the 2018 Honulu Film Awards.
With Fugazy Films AI, De La Torre pushes the boundaries of fan and genre filmmaking.
Using advanced AI tools like LTX Studio, Veo, Hailuo, Hedra, and ElevenLabs, he has created standout AI-generated shorts such as Indiana Jones and the Fires of Atlantis, Hotel California: Abduction, and Highlander: Resurrection. His projects blend nostalgia with modern visual flair, often drawing inspiration from 1950s Super Panavision aesthetics, Western anime, and synth-heavy retro soundscapes.
As a filmmaker, JC De La Torre stands at the forefront of AI-powered storytelling—merging traditional narrative instincts with the innovative tools of tomorrow to redefine what independent cinema can be.
Rita De La Torre is a multifaceted creative force in the worlds of audio drama, film, and online storytelling. A dynamic producer, writer, and performer, she has brought to life a diverse range of projects that span science fiction, fantasy, and personal well-being.
As producer and co-writer of the feature film Seekers of the Lost Worlds and a driving force behind the Transmissions From Atlantis Network, Rita has contributed to acclaimed series like Continuum Force and lent her voice to productions including Doctor Geek’s Laboratory. Alongside her husband, JC, she co-hosted The Doctor Who Instant Cast and Transmissions From Gallifrey, sharing her passion for genre entertainment with audiences worldwide.
Currently, Rita serves as a producer and part-time screenwriter for many of the innovative projects at Fugazy Films, a cutting-edge studio specializing in AI-generated cinematic storytelling. Her work there spans genres from historical epics to imaginative fan films, blending technology with compelling narratives.
Beyond the microphone and camera, Rita is the heart behind the Happy Bunny Tales blog and podcast—a warm, uplifting platform dedicated to finding joy, managing mental health, and celebrating everyday beauty. The project also extends into a charming WebToons comic, further showcasing her storytelling range.
An accomplished visual artist, Rita creates stunning astro-art through paints, acrylics, resin, glitter, and 3D printing—bringing cosmic visions to life.
