🌀 Who Are We?
We are part of the Transmissions From Atlantis Entertainment network created by filmmakers JC and Rita De La Torre.

JC De La Torre is an award-winning creative force in independent cinema whose work blends myth, history, science fiction, and cutting-edge AI technology to tell compelling visual stories.

His work isn’t some quickly thrown together AI slop. He personally writes, develop his character models, storyboard, prompt, edit, color grade, while creating music, sound effects, and the final render.

He is the founder of Ancient Memoria, a history-focused media brand producing animated docudramas, and Fugazy Films AI, an experimental independent studio reimagining film, music, and fan culture through the lens of generative AI.

De La Torre wrote, directed, and produced the feature-length science-fantasy live action adventure film, Seekers of the Lost Worlds, a globe-trotting story of lost civilizations and forbidden knowledge. The film was an early showcase of his passion for mythology-infused storytelling and his approach to weaving mystery, action, and emotional depth into indie cinema. It was honored with Best Feature of the Festival at the 2018 Honolulu Film Awards and was on Amazon Prime for a decent run.

A veteran storyteller, De La Torre has also helmed animated historical epics such as the award-winning Isabella: Rise of the Warrior Queen under the Ancient Memoria banner. This film was praised for its cinematic Western anime style and historical authenticity and was one of the first full-length AI feature films to win a Best Animated Feature award at a film festival (Atlantis Awards 2025). His work on Howard Carter: The Sand and the Seal reflects his commitment to bringing overlooked stories to life with emotional power and educational value.

With Fugazy Films AI, De La Torre pushes the boundaries of fan and genre filmmaking.

Using advanced AI tools, he has created standout AI-generated anime fan film shorts including Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Highlander. He also created a number of anime shorts in his 30-days of Anime challenge including well regarded Serial, Tomb of the Star Eater, Article of Ash, and Until the End of Time.

Beyond filmmaking, De La Torre is a published speculative fiction author (Ancient Rising, Nightmares from Eberus), comic book writer (Star Mage with IDW Publishing), and award-nominated sports columnist. His podcasting and audio drama work includes acclaimed fiction series like Continuum Force and Vampires of White Chapel.

As a filmmaker, JC De La Torre stands at the forefront of AI-powered storytelling—merging traditional narrative instincts with the innovative tools of tomorrow to redefine what independent cinema can be.
