The Forge Opens: Fires of Atlantis — Part Two Is Live!
There’s a special kind of thrill that only Indiana Jones can spark—maps that come alive, ancient puzzles that feel just within reach, and that heartbeat moment right before everything collapses. Today, that feeling is back. Part Two of Indiana Jones and the Fires of Atlantis is out, and it picks up right where our cliffhanger left us—only this time we go bigger, stranger, and hotter (hello, volcanic forge).
This chapter takes our Anime-inspired fan film deeper into the myth: a star map ignites, a hidden door grinds open, and the past starts talking in the language of light and fire. I’ve always loved stories where history and imagination shake hands, and this one leans all the way in.
What to Expect (No Spoilers, Promise)
✔️ A volcanic sprint and a 3D star map reveal
✔️ A hidden Hephaestian forge that answers one question and asks five more
✔️ A molten Guardian who really doesn’t like visitors
✔️ A tense dirigible sequence where timing means everything
✔️ The artifact’s first real pulse—and the sky… changes
Why Part Two Matters to Me
Part One set the tone; Part Two is where the world-building truly clicks. When I started this project, I wanted to honor the pulpy, globe-trotting rhythm of the Indy films while giving it the Anime energy I adore—bold silhouettes, dramatic lighting, and kinetic action framed like moving illustrations. That’s the heartbeat of this series: classic adventure DNA with a fresh visual language.
Also, I’ll admit it—I’m a sucker for ancient engineering. Secret doors that answer to starlight? Pressure, steam, and magnetism working like a lock? Yes please. These sequences were my playground, and I hope you can feel the fun we had designing them.
A Peek Behind the Curtain
We’re still pushing the boundaries of AI-assisted filmmaking—from look-dev to animatics to final render polish. This episode challenged us in three big ways:
✔️ Heat & light: Volcanic glow and ember haze without muddying the frame in vertical and horizontal crops
✔️ Star map clarity: Keeping the constellations readable while everything is moving (characters + camera)
✔️ Scale: Selling the size of the dirigible and the forge chamber without losing character emotion.
✔️ AI’s Changing Landscape: One of the crazy things about working in this industry is how quickly it changes. As we created the film, two new editing tools debut in Nano Banana and Seedream 4, taking our ability for character consistency to unseen heights. In addition, a new animation workflow developed by the X influencer Framer called Cartoon Hero, helped us reduce the production time in half.
I’m proud of how it came together. If it makes you lean forward, even a little, mission accomplished.

What’s Next
Part Three will be the finale of Indiana Jones and the Fires of Atlantis. It’s the climactic close—answers to the star map, a final reckoning with Richter, and the fate of the artifact decided in one high-stakes showdown. If you’ve been here since Part One, this is the payoff.
